Complaints, Reviews and Appeals Policy
Last Revised: 02/14/2026
Our Commitment
Only Rule 34 recognizes that users may sometimes disagree with the way a moderation decision was made or have concerns about how a request was handled.
We provide a process for raising these concerns and seeking review. Our objective is to assess complaints and eligible appeals consistently, with reference to our Terms of Service, Content Guidelines, other applicable platform policies, and relevant legal obligations.
Users should be able to raise legitimate concerns without being penalized merely for making a complaint or appeal under this policy.
What Can Be Appealed?
An appeal is intended for decisions that directly affect a user's account, content, or ability to use our services.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- A decision to remove content;
- An account restriction;
- A temporary suspension;
- Termination of an account; or
- Another moderation decision that materially limits access to Only Rule 34.
The appeal should explain the basis for requesting a different outcome and provide any information that was not considered previously or that the user believes was misunderstood.
However, an appeal may not be available where action has been taken because of a legal requirement. This includes situations involving material that is illegal or otherwise prohibited under applicable law.
Complaints About Our Services
Complaints cover a broader range of concerns than appeals.
You may submit a complaint if you believe that Only Rule 34:
- Did not apply one of its policies correctly;
- Failed to meet an applicable legal requirement;
- Handled a report or request improperly;
- Made a moderation decision that appears inconsistent with its rules; or
- Failed to address an issue you previously brought to our attention.
Complaints should be sent to admin@onlyrule34.com.
When contacting us, please provide your name or username if applicable, describe what happened, identify any relevant account or content, and include supporting evidence where available.
Review and Investigation
The appropriate team will assess each submission according to the subject matter.
A review may involve looking at the content or account concerned, relevant activity and moderation history, previous communications, and the information provided by the user.
Additional information may be requested if it is needed to establish the relevant facts.
The review will consider whether the action or handling in question was consistent with the applicable policies and requirements.
The original outcome may be:
- Upheld, where the existing decision remains appropriate;
- Modified, where some aspect of the original decision should change; or
- Reversed, where the original decision should no longer stand.
Submission Requirements
There is no requirement to use a particular legal format when submitting a complaint or appeal. However, submissions should contain sufficient information for us to understand and investigate the issue.
Relevant URLs, usernames, account information, explanations, and supporting evidence can all help us conduct the review.
Where the information supplied is incomplete, we may request clarification before continuing.
Expected Response Times
We aim to review complaints and appeals without unnecessary delay.
The length of the process varies according to the circumstances. Matters that require additional evidence, a more detailed review of account activity, or further investigation may take longer than straightforward requests.
Review Outcomes
Where appropriate, Only Rule 34 will notify the user of the result of their complaint or appeal after the review is complete.
The response may indicate whether the initial decision was maintained, changed, or overturned.
Some matters will not have a further appeal route after review. This may apply particularly to decisions arising from legal obligations, serious safety concerns, or repeated violations of our platform rules.
Maintaining This Policy
This policy may be updated as laws, regulations, industry standards, or Only Rule 34's internal practices change.
When amendments are made, the revised policy will be posted on this page and the date of the latest revision will be updated.
